Shipping Policy

Pet's Choice Supply proudly offers fast shipping for all items over at reasonable rates. We tend to ship out orders within 1-3 business days (sometimes sooner depending on what time the order was placed). Please review our shipping policy below to know what to fully expect when placing an order with Pet's Choice.

Shipping is FREE for orders over $99 on all items except Owen's Dog Boxes.

Flat rate shipping of $14.75 is charged for items under $99. 

All shipping comes via FedEx or UPS Ground. For smaller items, USPS may be used.

Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation in your email confirming your order. From there, we notify our warehouse representatives about your order and they begin packaging your items for transit! 

Shipping Confirmation and Shipment Time

All items come from within the United States. We have warehouses all over the United States that carry our various inventory of items. Most items ship within 1-2 business days unless otherwise noted. Some items can however take longer to process (ex: custom Hale Pet Door Panels). Items such as grooming tubs can take several weeks to be delivered because many are made upon order. If an item takes longer than our normal processing time, it will be stated in the product description. Please reference the shipping tab on the specific product you are looking at for a more accurate estimate as to how long shipping will take.

When the order is shipped, another email will be sent to you with a tracking number or information. Delivery of items generally come within 1 to 5 business days once you receive the tracking number. 

For freight truck shipments, delivery generally takes three to seven business days from when your order is shipped. Once your freight shipment arrives at your local terminal, you will be contacted to make an appointment. 

LTL Freight Shipping Policy

LTL Freight (Less-Than-Truckload) is used for shipments for larger items or oversized equipment. This requires a truck to deliver your order. The freight carrier contacts you once the order arrives to the distribution center, and they will help you set up an appointment for delivery. 

LTL Freight Curbside Delivery

For commercial addresses, our free LTL freight shipping option is curbside. This does not include a liftgate. Products requiring freight shipping will have an option to specify whether the item should be delivered to a residential, limited access, or commercial address. If there is no option to select a shipping location, then the cost of shipping is already included.

We highly recommend that you add the optional liftgate option for deliveries to locations without a forklift or loading dock.

Freight Delivery Location Details

As mentioned above, the freight delivery location options specify what the delivery location is. They include: Commercial, Residential, Residential Business, or Limited Access.

Commercial Freight Delivery - Commercial freight delivery addresses are defined by freight carriers or zoned by local municipalities as commercial areas or zones. Think warehouses or business squares. Most commercial zones have tractor-trailer access and a loading dock area.

Residential Freight Delivery - Residential addresses are addresses used as a residence, including homes, apartments, condominiums, etc.

Residential Business Freight Delivery - Businesses that operate from a residential address.

Limited Access Freight Delivery - Limited Access areas are defined as locations where deliveries are restricted, limited, or far from a distribution center. Examples include: farms, convention centers, schools, restricted areas like government buildings, etc. 

What is a Freight Liftgate?

A freight liftgate is a lift that is commonly found on the back of trucks that can lower freights to ground level. Freight carriers generally prevent their drivers from helping unload heavy deliveries unless they can use a liftgate. For any delivery that does not have a loading dock area, we highly recommend this option. Please note for long items, such as cage banks that are longer than 7 feet, that the liftgate will more than likely not be able to bring it down to ground level. In cases such as these, please have the necessary manpower readily available to accept your delivery. 

International Shipping

Unfortunately as this time, we do not accept international orders outside the United States.

Damaged Shipping

At the time of delivery, if you notice damage to the package which may include rips or holes, please sign and accept the package but notate that on the form "Product Damaged". This will protect you if there was any damage to the product during delivery. If there is extreme damage to the packaging, we suggest you refuse the order and then contact us immediately and we can send you a new order.

Shipping Cancellation

You are allowed to cancel orders before they ship with no charge. Please contact us immediately if you would like to cancel an order at contact@petschoicesupply.com
